Integrity Chamber Provides Information Session on Integrity to the Point Blanche Prison
On the 22nd of June, 2022, the Integrity Chamber provided an information session on the importance of integrity to the Point Blanche Prison. The information was presented by Integrity Chamber member Hans Lodder and Policy Advisor, Amanda Browne.
The session included information about the tasks and working methods of the Integrity Chamber and various aspects of integrity that were specific to the duties and responsibilities of the employees. Mr. Lodder encouraged the participants to be mindful of their actions as servants of the community. Tips were also provided on how to maintain integrity within the organisation. The sessions were interactive, allowing the participants to ask questions and share opinions.
The Prison welcomed the information sessions for the benefit of the employees. The participants of the session requested additional information about the implementation of a Confidential Advisor, as advised by the Integrity Chamber and the manner in which investigations are conducted. The Integrity Chamber applauds the Prison for recognizing the importance of upholding integrity within the organisation.
