Integrity Chamber Provides Information Session on Integrity to the Public Prosecutor’s Office
On August 16, 2022, the Integrity Chamber provided an information session on the importance of integrity to the Office of the Public Proscutor (OM). The information was presented by Integrity Chamber President, Rian Vogels, with the assistance of Communication Officer, Kevin James.
The session was initiated by the Integrity Chamber, based on its task of bringing awareness and promoting integrity to the community and included information on the tasks and working methods of the Integrity Chamber. Mrs. Vogels utilized her background as a former judge to provide tips on how integrity within the executing agency can be encouraged and maintained. There was open conversation, allowing the participants to ask questions and share opinions.
The core values of the executing agency, such as transparency, carefulness, efficiency and expertise, and their relation to integrity within the agency were discussed.
The OM welcomed the information sessions for the benefit of the agency and staff. There was interest in learning more about the processes, procedures, and authorities of the Integrity Chamber. The Integrity Chamber applauds the OM for bringing awareness to the importance of integrity and appreciates being called upon to provide support in accordance with its tasks.
