Integrity Chamber Provides Information Session on Integrity to Immigration and Border Protection Services
On October 19, 2022, the Integrity Chamber provided an information session on the importance of integrity to the Immigration and Border Protection Services (IBPS). The information was presented by Integrity Chamber member, Hans Lodder, and Policy Advisor, Gabi Fuchs.
The sessions were initiated by the Integrity Chamber, based on its task of bringing awareness and promoting integrity to the community. The sessions also included information on the tasks and working methods of the Integrity Chamber. Furthermore, attention was placed on procedures within the executing agency that can lessen and prevent the occurrence of integrity issues, such as conflicts of interest and the misuse of confidential information. The participants were encouraged to be mindful of their actions as role models within the community.
Enthusiasm was expressed in learning more about the advices submitted by the Integrity Chamber and their authorities with regards to investigations. The Integrity Chamber applauds IBPS for bringing awareness to the importance of integrity and appreciates being called upon to provide support in accordance with its tasks.
