Integrity Chamber Provides Information Session on Integrity to Immigration and Border Protection Services
On August 18, 2022, the Integrity Chamber provided an information session on the importance of integrity to Immigration and Border Protection Services (IBPS). The information session was presented by Integrity Chamber member, Hans Lodder, and Director, Charna Pompier.
The session included information on the tasks and working methods of the Integrity Chamber, discussions on the definition of integrity and the aspects of integrity that were specific to the responsibilities of IBPS. The participants were encouraged to be mindful of their actions as role models within the community.
The core values of the agency, such as professionalism, confidentiality, and trust, and the role they play in the execution of organisational tasks were discussed. The participants reflected on the information that was shared in the session as it related to their current duties and responsibilities within the executing agency.
The IBPS expressed enthusiasm for follow-up sessions on the importance of integrity. The Integrity Chamber applauds the IBPS for recognizing the importance of upholding integrity within the organisation.
