CAY HILL, Sint Maarten— The Integrity Chamber recently provided the newly sworn in Members of the Parliament of Sint Maarten with a presentation on the legal framework, tasks, and recent developments of the Integrity Chamber.
The presentation was led by Mr. Rik Bergman, President of the Integrity Chamber, Ms. Charna Pompier, Director, and Mrs. Amanda Browne, Policy Advisor. The presentation was well-attended and the MP’s showed support during and after the presentation.
The Integrity Chamber also facilitated a discussion on integrity. The discussions included the importance of integrity, and the promotion and maintenance of integrity within the organisation. An interactive dialogue took place which was stimulated through the presentation of various scenarios related to situations that Parliamentarians may encounter. The presentation and subsequent discussion are part of the Integrity Chamber’s ongoing mission to promote integrity, accountability, and good governance in Sint Maarten.
